Sixth Station Trio is a professional violin, cello, and piano trio based in San Francisco, CA.
They play an expansive variety of music ranging from Western classical music, film scores, video game music, and even pop. Sixth Station Trio debuted at San Francisco's historic Grace Cathedral in May of 2023 to a sold-out concert, featuring music from the films of Studio Ghibli.
Since their debut, Sixth Station Trio has performed several more sold-out performances at Grace Cathedral, SF Botanical Garden's Flower Piano Festival, San Jose’s MagWest convention, and SF Japantown's annual Cherry Blossom Festival. They have been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle's Datebook, SF Gate, The Richmond Review/Sunset Beacon, San Francisco Travel, and KTVU Channel 2 News.
Although they are newly formed, the members of Sixth Station Trio have been playing chamber music together since their high school years at Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts, and through their time pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Sixth Station Trio strives to keep classical music relevant to the general public, as well as to bring accessible classical music to the community of San Francisco and the Bay Area.
